Once upon a time, in het verre Ibisha… Dat is hoe de eerste Presidente van het eiland The Socialist zou willen dat elk verhaal over zijn mooie Ibisha begint. Vroeger zou je dat kunnen zeggen, maar vandaag de dag?
Het begon als een prachtig initiatief: een speciaal eiland voor de Spaanstaligen, waar zij, samen met wat anderen die wel Engels konden spreken, lekker konden handelen. Lange tijd ging het goed: de ene na de andere top-10 notering werd behaald door een Ibishaan, maar toen gebeurde er het onvermijdelijke. De Presidente, de kapitein van het schip, verdween van de kaart, samen met de Spaanstaligen.
Tegenwoordig is Ibisha een paradijsje voor Engelssprekende oligarchen die samen een landje besturen. Samen hebben ze er goed voor gezorgd dat er geen vreemdeling meer in het systeem past, zonder dat die al eerder bewezen heeft van nut te kunnen zijn. Maar dat is precies waar ze de enige fout in hun gesloten maatschappij hebben: er is immers één man die gelijk geaccepteerd zou worden: The Socialist.
Nadat hij enige tijd geleden teruggekeerd was naar Ibisha, zag hij dat Ibisha veranderd was. Het was niet meer het idyllische eiland dat hij achterliet. En hij was vastberaden het te veranderen. Op 13 december richtte hij de PRI op: de Partido Revolucionario Ibishano.
Hier is een citaat uit de club van de PRI:
“Since the liberation of Ibisha the President has always held all the power. Even though it would be best this stays the same, more participation from the Ibishan population is certainly wanted. This is currently not the case. Few people follow the Ibsimo Idea, nor are newcomers educated in the Ibishan ways. This is a shame and I think that mainly because of this lack of unity that Ibisha has fallen behind.
It is my idea that the Leadership should hold more responsibility. It is also worth considering to split the responsibilities of the President into different functions. Step one could be to create a separate President and mayor position. The mayor would do what most mayors in the Federation do, whereas the President could finally focus on managing the island. There is currently not a lot of unity in Ibisha and foreign influences wreck more than is us dear. Also, the Leadership should actively work on the Ibishan Law and modernize it greatly. They should also focus on promoting, explaining and expanding the Ibismo Idea.
It is my wish that those in the Leadership are very proficient in both the Ibishan Law and the International Law. This is basically essential to be able to improve the Ibishan Law. Another wish of mine is that a great law school will be found in Ibisha to educate the future Ibishan politicians and enable them to obtain a lawyer degree.
I’d like to hear your ideas about reforming the Ibishan Leadership. I will then, near the end of this round, rewrite the Ibishan law to accommodate all the necessary changes in Ibishan politics. ”
Uit deze tekst kunnen we opmaken dat de voormalige Presidente van het eiland terug wil naar de goede oude tijd. De tijd waarin het Ibisha voor de wind ging, maar er moeten wel enkele veranderingen komen.
Iedereen weet hoeveel macht en invloed The Socialist heeft, dus is er een grote kans dat er daadwerkelijk iets gaat veranderen. Het beloven interessante tijden te worden: als het besloten Ibishaanse regime inderdaad besluit iets te veranderen, worden het ook speciale tijden, en wij zijn er allemaal bij om deze vorming van geschiedenis mee te maken!
