After the last article it seemed clear quite quickly that Torpedo 7 wanted to start a case against the Island Council. After the first plea of the plaintiff someone needed to represent the Island Council. Seeing as every member of the Island Coundil was keeping to their right to silence, beagollum took the responsibility of being the representation of the defense. He was once of the people that worked on the design and contents of the current lawbook of Digitalia. It was however soon evident that letscall bever was not very happy about this, and so it turned out that no one on the defendant’s side showed up.

The process continued without the Island Council being able to mount a defense. Opposed to other cases in Digitalia, the verdict of judge letscall bever was actually based on something. Unfortunately this verdict was not very popular among the Digitalian inhabitants, and soon a fierce discussion was held in the Royal Palace. This discussion was about the fact if his Royal Highness had the right to make a by-law making the Island Council obsolete. After some time the Federal Manager came with the answer.

The Federals deemed that the judge was not authorized to denounce the existance and functioning of the Island Council in his verdict. The King however has the right to make a by-law with which he can place the Island Council on inactive, which raises the question whether the King can now pass any law he would like. The King has the right to (if this by-law is issued) make new laws, but when it comes to the constitution, he needs to seek advice from the Island Council. This way the King doesn’t gains nothing, especially since this was the main goal of the lawsuit, to make sure that King and his followers could change the entire law book.
