The last several rounds has been a struggle for potential lawyers in Virtua. Last round, we were unable to open the Virtuan Court due to the lack of lawyer degrees here. This round has been a fresh start for the lawyers in Virtua and as the acting Consul of Education – I was the one that gave the exams and saw the future Virtuan lawyers shine right on our soil.
I wanted to bring the lawyer degree back into Virtua as a priority. I hired a foreign teacher – to give me the exam. I thankfully passed and gave all my thanks for me and on behalf of Virtua to the teacher that travelled to Virtua – bonanza.
After passing the exam and gaining my degree, I put together the exam and began to offer it to the students in Virtua. It was amazing, knowing we could actually defend ourselves and others, where as we couldn’t before due to the shortage of degrees, no one at all had them in Virtua.
After some glorious passes and a few miserable failures, Rats! the Consul of Justice & Safety was able to hire the judges of the Virtuan court and begin to let in the cases that may occur. We can defend our country, without hiring the aid of foreign teachers – an amazing feeling.
I personally had a case started against me – I was able to defend myself – no foreign aid needed for me which potentially saved me lot & lots of ISH. I could express myself fully without having to explain everything to someone else. I could stand and be proud – knowing the full story. The verdict has still not been released, I will be proud whatever the outcome – knowing it is my first ever case.
Another thing that I am involved with, is being a Judge in the Virtuan Court. An unexperienced judge, but we must start somewhere. We have had no cases yet but I am anticipating for a case to arise so I can put my judging techniques to use.
