Author: White Queen
In the last Miniconomist the Head of State of Ibisha, mayor Franklin Ibisha, wrote an article in which he did nothing but attack the Virtuan Head of Government, Chairwoman Lion_Queen. And not at all with arguments, no. With insults, of which he accuses Lion_Queen to have said to him as well. Doesn’t this already state what the level of that article is, if Ibisha is using words like “extremist“, “a manipulative charlatan, only after his own gain…”. But also arrogance is beaming from this article: “And Islanders, myself in particular, are much too proud to be subject to being associated with such people.” This suggestion of his, having a social status above that one of Lion_Queen is truly a disrespectable and despicable point of view. But the worst is yet to come, as mister Ibisha, afraid that “another country to barge in and enforce their own rules.” is doing the exactly the same thing in Virtua by stating “Fire the chairman and talks can continue”. So what we have here is basically intervening with the Virtuan democracy, a proud and old political system, by a man not even elected himself! This disrespect for the ways of Virtua are as bad or even worse then the things he tries to accuse Lion_Queen and the Virtuan government from. People voted for Lion_Queen in Virtua, and apparently enough to get her into the Board of Consuls. And yes, as Chairwoman. So? Virtua has a small government, and all consuls have the same vote, there are three votes needed to pass anything. So whatever Lion_Queen’s position would be, be it Consul of Education, Consul of Justice and Safety or Chairman, she can never exercise more or less power in whatever position. So the argument of “It doesn’t matter who’s leading negotiations, because the final responsibility is always with the country’s leader” is rubbish. The whole, democratic Virtuan government decides democratically whether a proposal is good or not. Not the Chairman only. The Chairman does not have any final responsibility at all, the whole Board of Consuls have. There is no Virtuan law saying the Chairman is responsible for negotiations with other countries. On the other hand, the Virtuan Lawbook clearly states “- Consul of Foreign and Internal Affairs; this Consul maintains the relations with other countries/organizations, is administrator of the club Embassy Virtua[…]. So who is responsible for negotiations? Exactly, the Consul of Foreign and Internal Affairs. The Chairman does not have anything to do with negotiations.
It is very sad that a country that owes Virtua so much is being so ungrateful and unreasonable like this. I had hoped that by showing good will to talk Ibisha would do what it should: maintain good relations with Virtua. Now, because of some unreasonable Head of State in Ibisha, it is not. I might suggest a dismissal of Franklin Ibisha as leader of Ibisha, since he is nothing more but a “manipulative charlatan”.
This article is written on personal title, in function of Consul of Foreign and Internal Affairs I will not let my personal opinion on matters get in the way of the things I have to do in the best interest of Virtua.
