Do crime pays of?
The rounds has, as mentioned before, seen a lot of crimes, Heyy was shot down 90 times, Mario2019 had 24 bombs on his shop, Troel was robbed, Queenie was shot, and much much more, these crimes was done by multiple criminal players and also done by different reasons. There have been a lot of reasons to do crimes in Miniconomy, once crimes was done with money in mind. You knew a player that had sold a lot, and didn’t remember to log out in a safe house. You tried to rob him, and you felt that tickling feeling in the stomach, when you saw that green bar go from left to right, or you thought: DAMN.! when you got the picture of yourself in cuffs. But crimes could be done out of you own mind, or someone with a hole other goal in mind. People would ask you to do it, and for each time robbed or shot, he would pay you X amount of ISH, also you saw people with same products get hit, because they fought over the market and wanted the other to either stand down, or get bankrupt. Competition has been a thing not many have felt for a long time, now most products are covered by one, maybe two. However, never the main products, because people are afraid or they do not want to bother against other people doing the same products. Back in the days, when you had 3-4 cities and 30-50 players doing the same amount of products as you have today, is was inexplicable that not 2 maybe even 4 players did the same products, and then it began, the competition to get the sales, would people choose price over friendship? How much discount did the competitor deliver? What could you afford to lose from the regular price?
All this crime has has done nothing good for the trade so far, it has not had any good reasons to be done. The most common reason you here in the chat is, change the fines back! Well Troel did change the fines to get rid of the crime, but it actually did cause a lot more crime instead. The last few days silence has been a key in the triumph against the criminals. But maybe they sit in the bush waiting, waiting for the right moment, to make one massive attack, to make so much damage, that the trade will slow down, people would lick the wounds, while the criminals swim in the bricks and blood of their massacre. Who will gain from this? Anyone? Is this the right way to get the fines back to normal? For my understanding as I write this, only Troel, are able to bring back the fines in the end of the round? However, can it be true? has the law book really been made with such a big flaw? Can it really be true, that a single mayor can outdo the government? Because if that is true, someone should make a change unless they want it to happen again next round, and would, it be possible for a FCS to do the same. Would this mean that the next president actually are worth nothing? If the mayor or FCS choose to make a change in fines from start? Or would it be possible to make a new law in the government to re do this law and make a new one, making sure, that only the president can make laws/bylaws with the majority of his ministers? But wait, what will happens if one of the Criminal masterminds get hands on the presidency and mayor? Would Guilderland be made to the old Digitallie? Where it was almost more respected or to be a Criminal mastermind than a Coi or a Scoi. What will happen? will the trade die with more crime? or will the crime get rid of the politicians? or will the trade get bigger working together with the politicians? and will we see the end to crime lords?
