The Changing Federation

There is much change happening this round in United Blingdom. The free trade of guns and bombs has opened up the entire Federation to every product for the first time in a way not seen in my time in Miniconomy. The boycotting of gunpowder licenses by Guilderland has strained the supply, and hence increased the value, of bombs and gunpowder much to the favour of United Blingdom traders. I am also happy to see that not a single incident has happened between traders and officers removing products, so I thank both of the mayors for communicating the changes with their officers well this round.

Within politics also there is also a shift from an almost totalitarian President in United Blingdom to a more elected government, brought about by local debates and chat discussions including returning players or ones who are quite new. The government has obliged and has set out protections for any player who is elected to their position instead of being simply appointed. Now after the law changes there is more reason to join an election than to simply win. There are more options in politics with the changes and that can only be a good thing.

And now, on the subject of more options, we come to the inevitable subject; Where have they all gone? What is left for us players outside of our local courts and governments? After our international political system was shutdown from within, and international judiciary was overthrown, I for one will stand between the Federals and our last remaining international player organisation.
That organisation, is of course The Miniconomist itself.

We must keep the Miniconomist active or it may be removed as with all the other organisations us players have been turned away from over the last few rounds, or worse still it could become yet another Federal pawn. As of right now TMC holds the last hope that player organisations have a place in Miniconomy, and we cannot let that hope die.
