A secret note from the Federal Government has been leaked to the TMC editors. The report describes the cause of the (temporary) disappearance of the FES from the streets and the Fed Request from the list of clubs.
The problem arose because a manual reset of Holdington had been replaced by an automatic reset of Holdington traders who had not logged in for a month. It overlooked the fact that at the time the Federal Government also resided in Holdington. Traditionally, there is little login to Federal Government… this time not for more than 30 days, so the account was reset.
Some of the visible damage has been repaired quickly. For example, the FES stores were rebuilt. Less visible was that all Federal Government transactions had been erased. As a result, it seemed as if players had not yet bought any plots from the government, for example. As a result, the lot tax and the maximum number of road lots for non-premium members were reset.
Asked for an official statement, the Federals said that they apologize for any inconvenience caused by the incident.
