Trading agreements are as old as the road leading to Rome. The Netherlands has become rich because of this. We Dutchmen made these agreements with countries far away for herbs. What we gave back in return was almost always rubbish.
A lot of you are thinking what this has to do with our beautiful federation. After all, The Netherlands is far away from this federation. But it certainly has something to do with this federation.
In the past there have been a lot of trading agreements, for example the one between Pino1, Themini with alternating J. Hemelaar, Veronica or Marcelbuter. In the end, especially the initiativetakers had the most advantage of this. Pino1 has won some rounds. Themini who won a round doubtful and finished with a lot of top 20 spaces. There were no clear losers, but if Veronica, Marcelbuter or J. Hemelaar used their qualities in a better way, they could have won a round or more.
Then there are also tradingfamilies like Alvarez. As everyone knows, they have never won a round. You can take this as a fact that the family is not successful as tradingbond so far.
Since a couple of rounds, a new tradingbond has appeared which is called Equites. This bond consists of a couple of prominent people from Eurodam like Basick bv, Joerik, Ritz, Whooty and Centaurus. So far, only Basick bv, who is not by accident the initiativetaker of this bond, became the number one. It looks like this bond has been made to make a great trader out of Basick bv.
Now, to come back to the start, you can make a comparison between what happened in The Netherlands in distant times and what happens now within the federation. Small traders as Ritz, Joerik and Centraurus are letting themselves being used/abused. They don’t become much richer by this, but as long as the founder get’s better of it, everything is ok.
