A Touch of Virtua

Noot: Ondanks dat dit in het Engels is, wilde ik het publiceren.

Since there is no longer an English version I thought I might start to submit an article/edition in English since that is the only language I speak. So for starters I guess an update of Virtua is in order.
The first two days started out slow with few producers or core products in each city. What made things worse is that instead of people seeing what needs made they produced the same products as what was already on the market. This would not be so bad as it stimulates competition but there were some essential products missing; for instance in Cashington, there are 2 brick makers, 1 wood maker, 3 iron makers, 1 shovel/saw maker and 1 gas producer. This leaves no competition for the gas, wood, and shovel/saw maker. Also glass and ovens are nearly non-existent which leaves me to question how many people really know what they’re doing.
On the other hand Centropolis seems to be the new center of Virtua…. and i’m not just saying that because I’m the mayor. There are iron, brick ,wood, glass, oven, plastic(virtually not seen in cash), pump/engine’s, screwdriver, and car makers that keep their shops for the most part full. At this point I even dare to compare Cashington to Nasdaqar.
I’d like to now suddenly switch subjects and write about the hostilities that Digitalie has shown to both Cyberia and Virtua last round and apparently which will continue into this round if the conflict isn’t solved. According to Andoversr (our current Chairman), Digi has some simple terms:
-Digitalia, in exchange for peace, will receive special fines (lower of course), the local inhabitants will just pay the fine as it is now. (I’m sure Virtua can persuade the feds/Wouter to implement this)
– Digitalia, in exchange for peace, will receive 20% of the budget of the Virtuan cities, to be put to good use in Digitalia.
– Digitalia, in exchange for peace, will get a say in the Virtuan politics. The king will get a vote in decisions being made by the BoC.
– Digitalia, in exchange for peace, will get 50 pieces of every resource and product, plus 1 aeroplane.
(airplane?)
To this I say: Seriously….. These are terms that one might submit to a cowardly country or one that has been severely beaten. In an effort to keep things somewhat civilized I will not open my mouth (or fingers?) at this time so that hopefully talks can continue (I have no access to the International Convention club so I’m unaware of how they are going). I will say this however: We are neither cowardly nor beaten; and there is an idea of no ports floating around alot.
I suppose i will finish with Cyberia, and I must say I am a bit disappointed of the actions of the president as he refuses to be diplomatic and open an English discussion topic in his embassy. I must say that this is essentially shunning Virtua for whatever reason and I hope that the citizens and/or parliament will realize this. I honestly considered Cyberia a close cousin of Virtua until this point.
