When I was sleeping I heard the fireworks till deep in my sleep. I do not get awake anymore from that. I got used to. My alarm goes in the morning 8:00, rise and shine! I got a strange feeling, you know, something is happened past night. These last days were very busy and awful quit at the same time. The city is struggling with poverty causing a raise in criminal activities.
A part of the traders disagrees with the regime of president The Eye and his loyal minister Arjanisme. The tension between those 2 parties leads to shootings and bombings. So far only one fatal casualty 5986 but that had nothing to do with the tension between the 2 camps. Also Don Marcello Alvarez, the most feared man in history of Miniconomy, keeps his low profile. As in any country, nation or city there are differences in culture and lifestyle. The young city Cashwijk is not different from this and out of these differences come irritation and conflicts. Their live people, who would like to see that criminality keeps his part in the city, while the current local government would like to see more safety for his inhabitants, leading to new law proposals about ridiculous fines for criminals who got caught. Besides this differences on how to cope with criminality the president The Eye and his minister Arjanisme started a trade war against the other local traders. While they are close friends they had the idea to help each other out with semi-finished products with some extra MV’s, causing other traders were kept out of the trading cycle. Further the prices were lowered and the smaller trading did not saw a return on investment on the recent investments. Also I (Zoe Gek Wie Sjek) got plagued by this big traders. These 2 phenomena were causing the tension lately in Cashwijk.Back to my morning ritual. Each morning I go out with my dog and make a round through the city. Get fresh air and most of the times some fresh thoughts. On my route lies the Presidential Palace of Cashwijk, a lot of people standing in front of the gate. The whole palace was surrounded by tape. Nobody could in or out. Head Officer Maarten28 stood in front of the door with a sad and serious face.
From his face I could see something terrible was happened. I see 6039, walk to him, and ask him if he knows what happened. 6039 says: “I have asked at Maarten28, but he won’t tell me what happened. I hear some rumors that the president The Eye is shot this night.” The Eye was familiar with attacks on his person lately, but other times he could escape by his bulletproof vests or his house. But this time, it seems fatal. No sign from the perpetrator is seen. The story goes that he walks around lonely at night, seeking for targets. And the new proposed laws, higher fines when getting caught, were not in favor of this person who settles problems in Wild West Style. His attacks are always planned very well, he tries not to kill innocent people. To escape from him is almost impossible. Arjanisme, the new president, does not change trough the violence. His bank account is extreme full and he is not scared by the assassination. His strategy is to raise the fines to the maximum and that the number of officers can be extended. If this new president will survive these shooting is not known. He already survived some attacks on his person, even before he got to president. Also his head officer Maarten28 survived some assassinations by the dark world of Cashwijk. The criminal side of Cashwijk is not happy with this new proposed legislation. How they will react is still unknown, probably making plans already. Untill that time it is unknown how those two parties will react and if the can come to an agreement.
