Uproar in Heaven

(Kwacha Lumpur) Uproar over the Kachingaporian administration, as several past-round personnel show their mishap because they haven’t been payed for their services, reveals the bittersweet truth of the Kachingaporian administration.

The Kachingaporian royal court, led by Woshiempire, made it look like they had a great start last round. Business was good, and several of the people close to the king ended up in the top ten. But looking a bit further into the administration, we can see the first cracks in the new system.

Unpayed personel
Apparently the last few days of the round showed mayor gaps in the nations budget because of an overly stimulating of the economy. Because of those issues, Woshiempire decided to announce a halt of all payments made to personnel. Disgruntled workers then looked into the nations lawbook, only to find that this is a 100% legit way of working.
But being legal doesn’t make it okay, and several of those people have announced no longer to be willing to work for the government.
Sesam, who was teaching the Kachingaporian Institute, helping them set up a lawyer-course, worked for days on the new course, only to find out he wasn’t going to be payed: “It shows a lack of respect towards the people you work with. An honest work requires honest pay. If you don’t, you end up doing everything yourself in the end. That’s the direction Woshiempire is heading. We already see that the old faces in the government have disappeared.”
Some facts checking reveals that this last statement is in fact true. We see at least one completely new player in the government, in the position that was once filled by an experienced player like Yan.

But where’s the money?
With a booming economy, where’s the money off to?
Basically: probably in Woshiempire’s pockets. The money was used to boost the Kashingaporian economy through tourism, and the biggest player profited the most. And the biggest player… was the king himself.
Setting up a country has proven to be a great idea. Not only was he able to set up a law almost entirely benificial of one person, he was also able to direct all key moneymaking positions towards himself. Banking, buying the harbor lots and defining what goes where and to whom. Woshiempire sets out the course for an entire nation, and calls the shots as who should trade what, leaving the best bits for himself and his trustees. As the Head of State he can appoint gunpowderlicenses, and the sole gunpowder license that was appointed, was the one appointed to… himself. That is why the entire top ten only has one Kashingaporian: it’s the king himself.
The best part is: it’s one hundred procent legal, and even the CBI won’t meddle. It’s perfectly genious, we have to hand him that.
To illustrate his royal highness’ keenness of money: he even found some time to sit in with the International Court as a judge. Not actually working of course, he hasn’t done a case since he was king. But it’s a wellpayed position that requires hardly any work.
So why let it go when you’re a head of state? Especially if you’re the one making the laws that should forbid this kind of power abuse.

The downfall
But it won’t last. Resigning trustees, disgruntled citizens, it’s all starting to pop up after a single round. He’s incontournable but in the end he will need other players to trade with, so we predict that some water will be added to the wine, allowing others to profit from the new land as well. But in the meanwhile foreign traders from United Blingdom and other countries will have to quope with the idea that there is a fully locked down economy that only serves the benefit of one single player. And they will feel his wrath as he finetunes this economy to his will, and crawls the ladders of the top 10 higher and higher, every single round.
