International Court involved in legal scandal

The past few rounds, saying that the International Law is heavily under pressure is an understatement.
New player countries not recognizing the IL, inactive IC chairs, dubious appointments and a very subversive International Court have left the International Law
hardly enforceable. A new scandal arising from the International Court will make this even worse.

What is the scandal about?
Likemyitem has gone to the International Court to sue Bart, Head of State of the United Blingdom. As Head of State, Bart is the only one that can appoint gunpowder licenses, and appartently LMI claims Bart has appointed the license solely to Bart himself.
While we won’t make any remarks as to whether or not this is okay by law, we do have some questions about the court case itself.

For instance: the choice of judges.
The residing judge in this case is Woshiempire(). Regular readers will remember that Woshiempire() is Head of State of Kachingapore, a nation that does not recognize or enforce the International Law.

So… the scandal?
Three rounds ago, this very newspaper reported the fact that Woshiempire() was involved in the very practice that LMI is filing against now. (link)
During this round, Woshiempire() appointed himself the only gunpowder license.
While the International Court no longer holds the reputation of being the place to be to get Justice done – due to inactivity and bad management in the past – we now venture into a whole new territory: judges holding verdicts about possible infringements of the IL they were involved in themselves. Apparently the IC chair, nor the judge himself saw a problem with appointing a judge that can’t be objective in this case.

It doesn’t take a lawyers degree to see the problem here.
