Trade law accepted by Board of Consuls

Author: Tuned

A few days ago the Board of Consuls accepted the following law ; “It is prohibited to sell products in the first 3 days of a trade-period in a town which isn’t the home town of the person. An officer is allowed to fine the offender 500 I-shell per SQ per day the products are for sale.” The law was proposed by Tuned and edited with advice of all other consuls particularly the trade experience of viraxje.

The Board of Consuls goal with is to give the smaller traders more chance to compete with the big traders who often come from the capital. The big traders who already have a shop in all cities of the country on day two of the trade-period will now have to wait until day four to start selling products in these cities. And if they don’t, they’ll receive a fine that isn’t worth doing it.

The law proposal will first have to be accepted by the Council of Veterans before it could be added to the current Virtuan Lawbook. Next round will be the testing round of this law.
